Vive la foodies!
People think I eat out a lot. And when I can afford to (and often when I can’t) I do. Girl’s gotta eat, after all.
I don’t have kids. I’m single. It’s me and the dog. If I want company when I eat I phone a friend and we go out and eat. I’m low income/low outgoings. I don’t live a luxurious life. I haven’t holidayed abroad (or anywhere really) since 2006 (I have had dogs since 2008 and prefer not to leave them.) I literally work to live, which for me translates as dog, gym, walking, food. I’m slowly trying to sell everything surplus to my needs. This all goes into the 'Food Fund' (TM).
I also do various bits of work within the hospitality sector, plus I’m an enthusiast, and I know how important good and bad reviews can be.
I’m also a Facebook dopamine addict, and you know I like to blurt all over here. Some of you love it, some of you like it, some of you silently watch and judge and scroll, and no doubt some of the jealous haters hate it. But what other people think of me is none of my business and at the end of the day nobody cares, including me.
This isn’t an apologist post as such, it’s more of a ‘this is me, if you don’t like it, don’t look’ post.
I’m gonna keep eating and posting about it (and when I can’t afford to eat, I’ll even go into the red to do so. They’re only numbers on a screen somewhere and I could be dead in a month or even tomorrow.)
Vive la foodies! Up the Revolution!
